We are looking for a graduate to join the team as an Associate Editor/Project Manager to assist our rapid expansion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the editing and production of equity research reports under his/her coverage and will have to work closely with our teams in India to ensure the reports are up to standard and delivered on time. As we are a small firm, training will be ‘on the job’ but this will also mean a high degree of exposure and responsibly from the start.
The primary function will be to edit the reports for language, argument and accuracy. The editor will be given responsibly for all reports within certain industry sectors and will be expected to become an expert in these sectors over time and be able to challenge the analysts preparing the reports and add value to the research itself. The successful candidate is also expected to help develop and strengthen the product(s) further.
The role also requires a degree of project management to ensure the research is produced on schedule. This involves managing the work flow of our two offshore research units and the effective distribution of reports to clients and sales channels.
Ideally, we are looking for graduates in Economics or Business with very strong written skills and attention to detail. However, we will consider all graduates (particularly English graduates) with an interest in financial markets.
